| 1949 Martin D-18 - $7950 This D-18 has passed its "half-century plus a decade" milestone in remarkably good shape, for although it's been played, it hasn't been knocked around. All the finish and parts are original, including tuners, nut, pickguard, and bridge. The wear to the finish is pretty obvious in these photos, but there are no cracks with the exception of a slight 1 inch pickguard shrinkage crack along the outer edge of the pickguard (it's been repaired). The neck was reset and refretted some time ago, but we don't know when or by whom. The inside of the body shows no sign of loose braces ever needing to be glued, and the bridge plate is original and in very good condition. It hasn't seen much use in over a decade, and is ready for another round of service.
